Welcome to our monthly recap for July! This month, we've focused on helping AcreValue users improve their processes for getting in touch with landowners. The rollout of three important landowner search/filter features enable AcreValue users to be more precise with research, save time, and have the best odds for getting in touch with a landowner. We've also released an updated user interface for mobile devices and highlighted a few tools on AcreValue that most users rely on. Read below as we dive into these updates and more!
Boosting Your Landowner Outreach Strategy
In July, we focused on three recent feature additions to AcreValue's system:
- Searching for Absentee Landowners: With AcreValue's new "absentee landowner" search filter, you can easily determine if a property owner resides within the same state as the property or if they are out-of-state (also known as an "absentee owner"). Focusing on absentee landowners can offer several strategic advantages, such as the fact that absentee owners may be more inclined to sell their properties compared to a local landowner. - Finding Landowner Phone Numbers and Emails: Use the AcreValue skip tracing service to uncover potential phone numbers, email addresses, alternate mailing addresses, and age of landowners. By finding additional contact information for landowners that isn't available from public tax records, you can give yourself the best chance to reach & connect with a landowner. - Uncover Individuals Behind Corporate Land Ownership: You can now search for properties based on the specific mailing address listed on the ownership record. This can allow you to link farmland owned by corporate entities (which is common in America) with farmland owned by individuals. Read more: Uncover Individuals Behind Corporate Land Ownership

Tools & Updates for A More Powerful Experience
July also saw new updates to AcreValue's mobile experience. Users now can use property & land sale search filters when accessing AcreValue from a phone or tablet. These updates are particularly beneficial for users who frequently use AcreValue on a mobile device, such as realtors and farmers. Read more: updates to AcreValue's mobile experience
We also conducted a webinar highlighting three useful tools on AcreValue - the map layer toggle menu, measuring tools, and custom parcel boundaries. Watch below!
AcreValue 103: Useful Support Tools for Land Research (July 16): Learn how to use the map-layer toggle menu to display different map layers, including easements, electrical lines, national parks, and more. Attendees will also learn how to use the measuring tools on AcreValue to measure property boundaries or distance from one property to another.
